Decking FAQs
If the frame and posts are sound and only a few boards have gone, we can replace boards and re-treat. If the frame is soft, the posts have rotted at ground level or it moves when you walk on it, replacement is safer and better value. We will tell you honestly which it is.
Timber costs less up front and looks natural, but needs treating and eventually replacing. Composite costs more, does not rot or need staining and copes well with Fife weather. We fit both and will price both if you are undecided.
